Blackhall Bowling Club is situated in the west of Edinburgh and was established in 1898. Our 7 rink green is one of the city’s largest and our picturesque setting is recognised as one of the best in the capital.
We actively support and participate in playing in Bowls Scotland, Edinburgh & Leith Bowling Association, Edinburgh Bowling League, Edinburgh Women’s Bowling Association and East of Scotland Bowling Association competitions and team games.
We have a strong and active membership but are always delighted to welcome new members irrespective of gender and ability.
Our members will have the opportunity to enjoy social and competitive bowling and we have 3 Bowls Scotland qualified coaches who can provide help and advice to all levels of bowlers.
Our clubhouse and bar offers excellent facilities for our bowling and social members, visiting bowlers, spectators and guests.
We offer an extensive social calendar throughout the year which is very popular with members. We are always happy for members to bring guests along to enjoy the social events we hold.
